With over 30 years of experience, Jud is very knowledgeable in all aspects of the culinary industry. Having worked at many restaurants and hotels in Toronto and as the Executive Chef of the House of Commons in Ottawa for over 20 years, in addition to his high-level involvement in national and international professional organizations and culinary competitions, he is able to draw on an extensive array of competencies in order to assist with the planning, development and implementation of many services in the hospitality business.

His focus on excellence and his attention to detail have allowed him to deliver quality work in all of his varied endeavors while earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues and peers. As Canada's first Certified Master Chef (CMC) since June 2013, he approaches all projects with the same level of dedication and enthusiasm as well as an unparalleled work ethic and is able to provide a wide range of expertise in many areas of the food service industry.

Lisa S. Simpson

Project Liaison and Translator

After initially studying translation, Lisa earned a degree in culinary management and has worked for many years as Jud’s assistant while he was Manager of Culinary Team Canada and National President of the Canadian Culinary Federation. She now acts as project liaison for Hilltop Hospitality Consultants.

She has successfully combined her culinary interests with her original career path by specializing in English to French translation of food related topics and is currently responsible for the French translation of the Canadian Culinary Federation’s business documents, website and newsletter.
